Common questions
When will I get my order?
Everything is made to order, meaning that once you place the order we'll be making that piece just for you. We do this to stay sustainable and avoid overproduction.
The process of making some pieces can take up to 2 weeks if you're ordering from the U.S., and up to 4 weeks if you live outside the U.S.
What's the difference between gold plated and gold filled?
Gold filled jewelry is 100x more plated than gold plated jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is more resilient to water (although we still recommend drying it afterward), and everyday wear.
Gold plated jewelry is more affordable but needs more care. Store it in a cool, dry place like a cloth bag or your jewelry box to keep it away from moisture.
How do I use the beaded toggle clasp?
The beaded toggle clasp is a design used to create continuity in a piece and also to avoid any metals (some people are allergic to all metals, even gold)!
To unlatch the clasp, apply pressure on both the toggle and the bead equally and release. To put it on, apply the same pressure with the bead going into the toggle. Don't worry, you're not going to break it. I thread the clasp extra tight and loop it through multiple times to make sure it stays put.
Avoid pulling and tugging on your necklace from one side. Although we triple bead every piece, this can eventually loosen your piece over time.
Where are your materials from?
I source beads and findings locally and sustainably from stores in my area and use glass and gemstone beads.
I also avoid ordering from overseas, because that means more shipments and less environmentally friendly practices.
